About This Project
Van Nuys Awning recently completed a sophisticated shade solution for Oakmont Country Club in Glendale. The project involved manufacturing and installing two comprehensive slide wire systems to enhance the existing metal trellis structures. The first system, designed for the Terrace Grill Patio, features 14 panels of FIRESIST fabric in Sand #82006. This includes eight panels measuring 6' 6" wide with an 11' 3" projection, and six panels at 6' 6" wide with a 12' 3" projection. The hardware, including aluminum tubing inside fabric pockets, stainless steel cables, turnbuckles, snaps, pad eyes, screws, and bolts, along with black, brass, and silver grommets, ensures durability and seamless attachment to the steel pergola.
The second slide wire system serves the Garden Room Deck with 16 FIRESIST fabric panels, also in Sand #82006. This system consists of four panels at 5' wide by 10' 6" projection and twelve panels at 8' wide by 10' 6" projection. Similar to the Terrace Grill Patio, the hardware includes aluminum tubing, stainless steel cables, and various fasteners and grommets, providing a sturdy and elegant shading solution. These installations enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of Oakmont Country Club's outdoor spaces, offering a comfortable and stylish environment for their members and guests.
