About This Project
For this project, we installed seven custom universal gear-operated drop roll sunscreens to provide effective solar protection, reduce glare, and enhance the functionality of a large outdoor space. Each shade was custom manufactured to fit openings ranging from approximately 5 feet to 11 feet wide, all with an 11-foot drop, ensuring a precise fit and seamless appearance.
The screens were fabricated using MERMET Natté 4503 Pearl Sable fire-resistant performance fabric, selected for its durability, elegant woven texture, and ability to reduce heat while maintaining outward visibility. Each unit features a wire-guided system that keeps the fabric stable and secure during operation, even in windy conditions, making it an excellent solution for large exterior applications.
To complement the building's modern design, all hardware was finished in a Semi-Gloss Black powder-coated finish, creating a sleek, cohesive look. This installation delivers lasting performance, improved comfort, and a clean architectural aesthetic that enhances both the appearance and usability of the space.
