About This Project
This project involved the custom recovering and installation of a third-floor open-end canopy designed to restore both the appearance and functionality of the existing structure. The canopy featured a custom extension on the left side and was fabricated with four integrated rafter pockets to ensure a precise fit over the existing framework.
The new cover was manufactured using premium Sunbrella Forrest Green (#4637), providing exceptional durability, weather resistance, and long-term performance in an exterior environment. The canopy was finished with a 6-inch rigid valance, creating a clean, architectural appearance that complemented the building's design.
Installation was completed using balcony access and ladder access, with the project coordinated to allow the existing gutter to be removed and reinstalled after the new canopy cover was installed. This custom recover extended the life of the existing canopy while delivering a refreshed, high-quality finish built to withstand the elements.
