About This Project
Enhance privacy, reduce heat, and improve outdoor comfort with our custom-manufactured manual rope pull drop roll shades. This project included the fabrication and professional installation of six custom Van Nuys Awning manual drop roll shades, designed to provide reliable solar protection while maintaining airflow and outward visibility.
The installation consisted of:
One shade measuring 6'7" W × 8'8" Drop
Five shades measuring 6'1" W × 8'8" Drop
Each shade was custom fabricated using 95% Textilene® solar screen fabric, a durable, weather-resistant material that blocks a significant amount of heat and harmful UV rays while allowing natural light and visibility through the screen. The shades were installed with a manual rope pull operating system, providing smooth, dependable operation with minimal maintenance.
All units were wall-mounted to the fascia below the gutter on the second floor, ensuring a secure installation and a clean, streamlined appearance. Custom-built for a precise fit, these exterior drop roll shades offer an effective solution for improving energy efficiency, reducing glare, and creating more comfortable outdoor and interior spaces for residential and commercial properties.
