Van Nuys Awning completed this custom-fabrication and installed a complete outdoor shading solution featuring a restored open-ended awning and a four-panel slide-wire shade system.
The existing 17' 3" wide awning was professionally recovered and reinstalled with custom-sewn Sunbrella Marine fabric in Natural #4604, accented with two wide TempoTest Antique Pink #T53-47 stripes and a tailored 8" loose valance.
For the second-floor rear balcony, we designed and installed four custom slide-wire fabric panels spanning 23' 5" of projection. Each panel features a refined 12" center stripe and is supported by white-finished steel wall ledgers and precision stainless-steel cable hardware. Custom aluminum tubing, turnbuckles, snaps, pad eyes, and premium grommets complete the system, with a custom operating wand providing smooth, effortless adjustment.
The finished installation combines sophisticated custom fabric detailing with durable architectural hardware to deliver a tailored shade solution designed for both performance and visual appeal.
