About This Project
Van Nuys Awning undertook an exciting project to manufacture and install a custom cabana, featuring a 4-sided swoop and a combination of rigid and loose scalloped valances. The cabana, measuring 15 feet wide by 11 feet 4 inches in projection with a drop determined by the client, will be constructed with four posts bolted to a bluestone tile on a cement slab. These posts will be wrapped in Sunbrella Marine Fabric in Solid Sapphire Blue #4641, complemented by a rigid 6-inch valance and a loose 4-inch scalloped valance style #11, with a cream braid detail. The project also includes a 4-inch plate for electrical conduit attachment and a template for the client to create a metal cap, ensuring seamless integration of all elements.
Additionally, the project involves the installation of four center-opening sheer drapes with tiebacks and four fixed drapes at the cabana corners. The sheer drapes will feature two side pieces measuring 11 feet 4 inches wide by 8 feet drop, and one front piece at 15 feet wide by 8 feet drop, using TBD hardware color. The fixed drapes, also made from Sunbrella Marine Fabric in Solid Sapphire Blue #4641, will include contrast cream braid tiebacks and stand 8 feet tall. This custom cabana will blend functionality with aesthetics, creating an inviting and stylish outdoor space.
