About This Project
This project involved the custom manufacture and installation of two closed-ended spearhead window awnings for the front of the home. One awning measured 5' 6" wide with a 2' projection and a 9" drop and was installed on the right side facing the house, while the second measured 8' wide with a 2' projection and a 9" drop and was installed on the left side. Both awnings were fabricated using premium Sunbrella® Marine Standard Solid fabric in Charcoal Grey (#4644/6044), providing exceptional durability, UV protection, and long-lasting color retention. Each awning features an 8" straight, hemmed, loose valance, a black powder-coated frame, and classic Old School spearhead finials for a timeless architectural appearance. The frames were constructed from U.S. zinc-coated steel for superior strength and corrosion resistance, and the awnings were securely mounted using stainless steel screws to ensure long-lasting performance and reliability.
