About This Project
For this project, we completed the fabrication and installation of four custom closed-end canopies for a multi-unit residential property, providing attractive shade solutions that enhance outdoor living spaces while complementing the building's architecture.
Each canopy was custom built to fit the unique dimensions of its assigned unit, with widths ranging from 16' 3" to 16' 6" and custom side projections designed to accommodate the individual layouts of each patio. Every canopy featured a 1' 10" drop with a 6" valance, creating a clean, finished appearance while delivering effective protection from the sun and the elements.
The installation included custom structural support posts for each unit, with two or three steel support posts installed as required to ensure long-term stability and durability. Post heights were customized and field-adjusted where necessary to provide a precise fit and professional finish.
Each canopy was manufactured using Sunbrella® Marine Standard Solid fabric in Ivy (4632), a premium outdoor fabric known for its exceptional fade resistance, weather durability, and long-lasting performance. The framework was fabricated from U.S. zinc-coated steel, providing outstanding corrosion resistance and structural strength for years of dependable service.
