About This Project
This project included the custom fabrication, recovering, refinishing, and installation of 27 commercial awnings throughout the property. Our team manufactured one new closed-end standard style awning for the top deck and recovered seven existing closed-end standard style awnings in the same area. We also recovered eight custom clam-shell style dome awnings serving the second-floor balconies, ten open-end standard style awnings for the third-floor balconies, and one closed-end standard style awning at the back entrance.
All awnings were recovered using premium Sunbrella Black #6008 awning-grade fabric for long-lasting durability and a clean, modern appearance. Existing awning frames, excluding the third-floor balcony frames, were removed, refinished with a black painted finish, and professionally fitted before reinstallation. The clam-shell awnings were returned to our shop to ensure precise fitting and craftsmanship prior to installation.
To complete the design, the clam-shell awnings and third-floor balcony awnings were finished with custom 6-inch loose valances featuring a Scallop #6 profile accented with Cocoa #50310 braid. The completed installation delivered a cohesive, refreshed look across the property while extending the life of the existing awning framework through expert recovering and refinishing.
